World Travel Holdings and its employees proudly sponsors Make-A-Wish® and have come together to raise awareness and money for the organization — raising more than $100,000 each year since its inception to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Here are some fundraising highlights …
- Kicked-off the sponsorship in July 2011 through a promotion with our CruisesOnly® brand
- Workplace giving through employee donations and local office fundraising events
- Make-A-Wish is the Dream Vacations and CruiseOne National Conference “Charity of Choice” and it raises money annually through raffles, special events, a silent auction and donations

Mirabella, 4 – leukemia
“I wish to go to Disney World for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween on the Brightline.”
Mirabella is a fun, outgoing girl who is always smiling. She loves to play with Princess, Barbie’s, swim, play video games and color. Mirabella’s favorites:
- Movie: Frozen or Moana
- Show: Peppa Pig
- Princess: Cinderella
Maura, 18 – autoimmune disorder
“I wish to have a shopping spree.”
Maura is a vibrant girl who loves to hang out with her friends, her dog named Ruby, watch TV and drive around in her car. Maura’s favorites:
- Show: Greys Anatomy
- Color: black
- Restaurant: Chick-Fil-A
- Food: hibachi
Victoria, 7 – leukemia
“I wish to go on a staycation in Florida.”
Victoria loves to dance, she has 2 dogs, and is considered very shy but loves to be around people. Victoria’s favorites:
- Hobby: dancing and watching dancing videos
- Foods: cheese, popcorn, chips
- Drink: chocolate milk
- Color: purple

A DAY TO GIVE BACK
The same passion we have for our customers and our employees extends into the communities in which we work and play. We not only believe it, we live it — we give our employees one paid day per year to be used to volunteer at a nonprofit organization of their choice.
